As the sun rose over the serene waters of Kawartha Lakes Marina on July 6, 2024, the excitement was palpable as anglers gathered for the Paddle Sport Preview Event. And we, Canadian Tackle Store, were honored to be the proud sponsors of this incredible event!
A Morning to Remember
The event kicked off at 7:00 am, and despite the gusty winds, our participants were undeterred. In fact, the wind only added to the thrill of the day as anglers battled against the elements to reel in their catches. With over 25 participants joining us for the day, the energy was electric!
A Community Comes Together
What made this event truly special, however, was the sense of community that permeated every aspect of it. The anglers were not just out to catch fish; they were also passionate about giving back to their community. As a result, we were blown away by the generosity of our participants who donated a plethora of items to the local food bank in Kawartha Lakes.
