The BKK Fangs 63 UA is an all-round highly versatile 3X-strength treble hook that features BKK’s ultimate Ultra-Antirust coating, which provides superior resistance to saltwater corrosion. For this reason, it is particularly recommended in salt water application.

Hyper Shield is the top layer, plating coating that depending on the concentration of salt, in the water that you are fishing, might turn black, as a result of a chemical reaction called oxidation. This change of color of the plating is exactly that: a change of color and nothing more. It is not rust or corrosion. Actually, the plating becomes harder, does not peel off, and does not move on to the inner parts of the hook.
